Where should I stay?
First off, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have reserved a block of 45 rooms at the Round Hill Inn in Orange, VA, for our guests! A discounted rate of $169.99 per night is available when booking under the Chalkley/Rucker Wedding. More information on how to book is located under the "Travel" tab!
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on the invitations. If you received a plus one it will be noted on your invitation in order to RSVP.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your little ones! However, due to limited space, we are only able to invite children of close family to our wedding, which will be specified on the invitations. We encourage you to use this as a date night to get out and have some fun!
Will there be an open bar?
We are having a limited bar with certain cocktails, beer, and wine.
Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?
We have hired an amazing photographer named Liv, and she will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony. We do kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many photos/videos once the ceremony is finished!
Will there be transportation to and from the venue?
Yes! We are providing a shuttle from Round Hill Inn to The Market at Grelen for your convenience. If you're staying at Round Hill Inn, simply hop on the shuttle to the venue—this is the easiest option, as pickups from multiple locations won’t be available. After the wedding, the shuttle can drop you off anywhere in Somerset or Orange, so no worries about getting back safely! If you plan to use the shuttle, please let us know on your RSVP.
When should I RSVP?
Please make sure to RSVP 'yes' or 'no' by July 2nd. This allows us to give our vendors a correct count prior to the wedding.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you can't make it please make sure to RSVP 'no' so we can plan accordingly with our guest count for vendors! Please do this before July 2025 when RSVP are due. There will be a live stream for those who can not be there in person and want to still see the ceremony!
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! To keep everything cohesive with our vibrant wedding theme, we kindly request a semi-formal dress code in a pastel color palette. We also ask that you avoid wearing light pinks, light blues, or white, as these colors are part of the bridal party’s look. More information can be found in the "More Info on Dress Code" tab!
What time should I arrive?
he ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM. If you are taking the shuttle from Round Hill Inn, there will be designated pickup times to ensure you arrive by 5:00 PM or earlier. If you are driving yourself, we recommend arriving by 5:00 PM to allow time for parking and finding your seat before the ceremony starts.
